Integrated Energy Healing

Integrated Healing uses a bio-feedback system to get to the root of your issue and clear it to promote self-healing. A session leaves you feeling relaxed and refreshed, much like a massage or a reiki session, but it also brings you a newfound awareness. While you are relaxing during a session, it is an interactive healing experience, Integrating multiple therapies into your one session to bring about the best results. Therapies used include Structural Energetic Therapy, Reiki, acupressure, meditation, essential oils, and reducing self limitating beliefs. It is about bringing awareness and letting go as much as it is about clearing the energetic pathways.

Chair Massage

imageChair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.

Corporate Chair Massage:  Let’s discuss the benefits of bringing Corporate Chair Massages to your employees.  Free 15 minute chair massage demonstration on our first meeting!  The massage chair can be set up in an individual work station, conference or break room. Contact me today!

List of Techniques that I use

imageCranioSacral Therapy is a gentle yet powerful technique that is effective in releasing neck pain, back pain, and mental stress (among other things). It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull. Developed by physician William Sutherland, this therapy provides a very soothing and relaxing healing experience.

Massage cupping is a form of therapeutic bodywork that is used to facilitate deep tissue release and aid in bringing about numerous healthful benefits to the body. It performed by applying ‘reverse pressure’ to the body, via glass cups that are placed and or massaged along problem areas. It is integated into your treatment. image

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

imageFloor Mat Massage is performed on a special mat that is placed on the floor. This massage requires no or little used of oils and the client relaxes in loose fitting, comfortable clothes. The main technique for this massage is finger pressure, however I will use elbows, knees, and feet.  The technique includes stretching, joint movement,  as well as stretching and percussion to the body’s tension and increase circulation.  Breathing is another technique will be focused on to help the client achieve a state of deep relaxation.

Heated Bamboo, this exquisite experience uses smooth heated bamboo to massage the body. Clients often have a deeply relaxing experience and describe the bamboo as having an innate ability to dissolve knots and other tissue congestion with ease. This treatment applied in a specific way facilitates the flushing of toxins from the body and reduction of pain and inflammation.image

Infant Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically to promote the healthy development of your infant. Caring human touch is crucial for a healthy thriving baby, and the benefits of massaging your infant are potent and numerous. For example, many infants show improved growth and development of the brain and nervous system. Infant massage has also been shown to improve the quality of a baby's sleep, as well as strengthening their immune system.

imagePregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body. As a result, the body's natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health. During a session, I work directly with your energy field to remove blockages, detoxify your system, and restore your bodies energy. Reiki utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to conduct the necessary energy between us. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain.

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.

imageStructural Energetic Therapy is the only therapy that releases the spiral twist in the body back into weight bearing support relieving the stresses on joints, spine, and discs that lead to pain and dysfunction. We apply specialized myofascial (muscles and connective tissue) protocols to release myofascial holding patterns that maintain the distortions. We also use energetic healing techniques to release energetic and emotional blockages creating pain, distortions, and dysfunction. image

Trigger Point Therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing "trigger points" in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension similar to acupressure points, except they occur in the belly of the muscle rather than along the energy pathways of the body. These "knots" are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques order to release your trigger points. This process can be quite painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative.

Fascial or myofascial unwinding is a process in which a client undergoes a spontaneous reaction in response to the therapist’s touch. It can be induced by using specific techniques that encourage a client’s body to move into areas of ease. This body stretching releases imbalances in the body, old injuries, tight muscles, tension and pain. It is done with client fulling clothed on the floor or massage table.
